To increase the retreading rate of truck tires size 12R24 and reduce the cost of retreading tires in this size, a cold tire retreading line is being established by a company specializing in Arzesh Afarin mining and mineral industries production. In this method, a pre-made tread is applied to the tire after buffing and then vulcanized in an autoclave. Compared to the current method, this process uses less compound for truck tires of this size. The production capacity of this line is 20 tires per shift.
